This photo was taken during a hike near the Grand Canyon on a trek down into Havasupai Falls. It was a very challenging hike for me at the time with a foot injury but the rock formations were breathtaking and overwhelmingly gorgeous. I loved, loved painting these rocks out in the desert down to an oasis of blue running water.
The title of this painting is a book by Alan Watts.
